Traditional Rugs and your home

Traditional Rugs have a long and storied history. Their stylings have stood the test of time and in many cases are updated only to reflect the latest fashion colors while the traditional rug patterns remain unchanged.


There is a wide range of different traditional rugs available and in many instances the technical names of the patterns do not matter to the consumer as much as the styling that they represent. So, rather than focus on the original origin of patterns or what the names of traditional rug types are, I will pay more attention to the modern interpretations of area rugs and how they can be applied to today's interiors.
