Rugs come from all sorts of areas, and are made in an ever increasing range of ways. So how do you choose the right rug to go with, especially when they all seem to look of similar quality online? There is not a bunch of mumbo jumbo about not being allowed to use the rugs on a floor or some such nonsense. The rules include:

1) The rug must be used in a residential setting (IE don't go putting the rugs on the floor of a convention center and then complain that it looks bad) :)

2) Don't spill oil on the rug. Oil is the kryptonite of these rugs. So no vegetable oil, hand lotion, etc. The special fiber does not like oil.
