Return and Refund Policies

RugsToMyDoor does not just want your business today, but for a lifetime, and here is how we do our very best to make sure that happens:

If you do not care for your area rug selection, for any reason, just let us know within 14 days of receiving it, and upon verified receipt of your first selection, we will give you a 110% credit towards the selection of another area rug from us! 

For example, if you dislike your first selection that cost $300, just send it back to us, and you will receive a credit for $330 on a different item.  We simply ask that you make your selection within 1 year of the first item being sent back.

Or if you prefer, we will gladly refund your purchase price less a 10% processing cost within 7 to 10 business days of the item arriving back at our facilities.  Either way just contact us, and we will walk you through the very easy steps to send the item back to us.

Notes to make sure your return goes well 

We want your return process to be as simple as possible, so please note:

1)       Return freight must be paid by the purchaser.

2)       Goods returned without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER from RugsToMyDoor will be refused and returned to sender, or incur a substantial fee for processing, so be sure to obtain an “RA #” and “ship to” address from Rugs To My Door prior to returning items (this is because without a RA# we may not be able to clearly discern who returned item).

3)       We suggest that you return the item by using either UPS or FED EX GROUND or any other courier that is able to track AND INSURE its packages. We must be able to verify return receipt of the goods with a tracking number prior to issuing a credit.

4)       Items that have been soiled or damaged may be refused or cause you to incur significant additional fees.

5)       Select manufacturers require the return item be picked up by them.  In this case, the cost of freight back (usually approximately 15%) will be deducted from the refund amount, if you elect to request a refund versus a 110% in store credit.

6)       If you choose to refuse shipment of the item or ask us to cancel the order after it has left the manufacturer, you will incur a cancellation fee.  It is always best to contact us rather than refusing a shipment.  A refused item will incur significant costs for processing.  Please allow 7 to 10 business days (upon receipt of goods by RugsToMyDoor.com) to receive your credit or refund.
